The Intend Rover Monocoque is a premium hybrid coil-air rear shock, individually tuned for Kavenz VHP frames and the rider's weight. Combining the sensitivity and traction of a steel coil spring with the adjustability of an air-supported system, it delivers exceptional small-bump compliance, outstanding grip, and controlled suspension performance across demanding terrain.
Featuring an innovative monocoque construction, a three-position lockout lever, and individually optimized damping, the Rover MC is designed for riders who demand maximum traction, precise control, and uncompromising performance on the trail.
Features
Tuned for Kavenz VHP and Rider Weight: Each shock is individually configured to suit the suspension characteristics of the selected Kavenz VHP frame and the rider's weight, ensuring optimal spring support, traction, and damping performance.
Hybrid Coil-Air Spring System: Combines the plush sensitivity and consistent response of a steel coil spring with the additional tuning possibilities of an air system. This hybrid design provides excellent small-bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and a controlled spring curve.
Eibach Steel Spring: Equipped with a high-quality Eibach steel spring, selected according to the rider's weight and shock configuration for optimal suspension performance.
Three-Position Lockout Lever: Easily adapt the shock's behavior to different riding situations with the integrated three-position lever, providing additional pedaling support when needed.
Monocoque Construction with Low-Friction Coating: The monocoque design features a polymer low-friction coating, dynamic Trelleborg seals, and tolerance-compensating bushings for smooth operation, consistent sensitivity, and reliable performance.
Advanced Piston and Shaft Design: A redesigned piston helps prevent snagging at the apex of the stroke, while the Opticoat-coated one-piece piston rod contributes to smooth and consistent suspension movement.
Easy Setup and Flexible Mounting: The EQ Port simplifies air-pressure setup, while the IBS mounting system allows conversion between Trunnion and Metric mounting configurations.
Hand-Assembled in Germany: Designed, engineered, and tested in Freiburg, Germany. Each shock is individually assembled by hand at Intend to ensure high manufacturing quality.
