Thank you for your interest in our products! Below are the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase. They are here to explain your rights, and if you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact us—we are happy to help. We hope you enjoy your purchase!
General
These general terms and conditions (the “General Conditions”) apply when you (“Customer” or “you”) place an order from 77designz (“Company”, “us” or “we”) on 77designz.com or kavenz.com (the “Websites”).
We sell products to multiple jurisdictions, and these General Conditions are intended to be global. However, depending on the jurisdiction in which you live, mandatory local laws may apply. We respect such applicable laws, and nothing in these General Conditions shall be interpreted as limiting your statutory rights where mandatory law provides greater protection.
Orders
Your purchase order is accepted when you receive our Shipping Confirmation. A purchase agreement is then entered into. We encourage you to save the Shipping Confirmation for future reference.
We may decline a purchase order for various reasons, for example if you provide incorrect personal data or have a record of non-payment.
You may withdraw your order until it has been shipped. We will refund any payment that you, or your payment provider, have made for the order.
We may cancel an order if the products ordered are sold out. In such cases, we will refund any amount paid and inform you of equivalent products, if available.
All products remain our property until full payment has been received.
Customer Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide to us is correct and complete.
You are responsible for all purchases made with your login details. Please ensure that your login details are kept secure and are not accessible to unauthorized persons. Notify us immediately if you suspect that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.
Prices and Fees
The prices shown on the Websites apply to orders placed through the Websites. All prices are given in the currency stated and include VAT where applicable (depending on your location, VAT may not apply).
Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include payment or shipping fees; these are displayed separately.
Local charges—such as currency conversion costs, bank or credit card fees, sales tax, or customs duties—may apply depending on your location and local regulations. Such charges are at your expense and will not be refunded by us.
Special Offers
From time to time, we may offer more favorable conditions for specific products—such as an extended right of withdrawal or free returns. Such conditions are valid only for a limited period, until the products are sold out, and may be withdrawn by us at any time. Once withdrawn, these General Conditions apply without modification.
Shipping and Delivery
Products in stock are normally delivered within the number of working days shown on the Websites under “Shipping.” In case of delivery delays, we will inform you and continue to monitor the order. The order may be cancelled until it has been dispatched.
Right of Withdrawal
You may withdraw your order by notifying us within 30 days of receiving the ordered products. Your withdrawal notification must include your name, address, email address, order number, and a specification of the products to be withdrawn.
You must then return the withdrawn products to us at your expense immediately and no later than 14 days from the date of your withdrawal notification. You are responsible for the condition of the products during return shipment. We strongly recommend that you return them well packaged, in good condition, and in their original packaging.
When a withdrawal is made, we will refund the price you paid for the withdrawn products, including any costs for standard shipping (i.e., the cheapest available method). We will not refund additional costs resulting from express shipping or similar premium choices.
We may deduct any depreciation in the value of the products if the depreciation results from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the products’ function or characteristics.
Shipping costs are refunded only if you withdraw the entire order, not if you cancel only part of it.
Refunds will be issued as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after your withdrawal notification. However, we may delay the refund until we have received the returned products or you provide proof that they have been sent (e.g., a delivery certificate). Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Your right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts that:
- relate to a service that has been fully performed, if you consented to the start of the service and acknowledged that withdrawal rights would be lost once the service was completed;
- relate to goods manufactured according to your specifications or clearly personalized.
Warranty
Our products, including 77designz components and Kavenz frames, undergo rigorous testing on the world's toughest test equipment and race tracks. We therefore offer an extended warranty of 5 years, in addition to the legally required 2-year warranty (or longer if required by mandatory law), starting from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects within the specified warranty period. If a defect arises that is covered under warranty, 77designz will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product.
The extended warranty does not apply to textiles or products from other manufacturers that we distribute. These items are covered solely by the statutory warranty of 2 years (or longer if required by law).
Second Owner Policy
At 77designz, we value all our customers—including second owners. While we do not offer a dedicated second-owner warranty policy, second owners are eligible for our crash replacement program.
Crash Replacement Conditions
If a defect occurs, we offer a 50% discount on the defective part as part of our crash replacement program. This discount applies only when the defect concerns a specific component that must be replaced due to a material or manufacturing issue.
Crash replacement applies only when components have been installed and used in accordance with the assembly instructions.
Claiming a Warranty Case
If you wish to make a warranty claim, please send the product along with a written explanation to:

We will assess the issue and take appropriate action based on the warranty coverage. This policy applies to both original and second-owner products.
Limitation of Liability
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, our liability is limited to direct damages. We are under no circumstances liable for indirect damages such as loss of earnings.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Websites and their content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property and marketing laws. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, images, graphics, designs, layouts, product information, and other content may not be copied or used without our prior written consent.
Online Dispute Resolution
According to Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform:

We agree to participate in an out-of-court dispute resolution procedure.
Waiver
We reserve the right to correct any image or typographical errors on the Websites, including errors in product descriptions, technical specifications, prices, or stock information. We may correct such errors and update the Websites at any time.
Images on the Websites are for illustration purposes only and may not exactly represent the quantity, appearance, function, or origin of ordered products.
Changes to the General Conditions
We may change these General Conditions at any time. Updated conditions will be published on the Websites and take effect once you accept them (e.g., by placing a new order or continuing to use the Websites).
Governing Law and Disputes
In the event of a dispute, we strive to comply with decisions made by national consumer protection authorities.
Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these General Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the country or state where we conduct our business and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our place of incorporation. “Non-exclusive jurisdiction” means that you may also bring a claim against us in another jurisdiction if permitted by mandatory law.
